Scratch Mix

Perfect for all happy, free roaming chooks who love to scratch and peck at all the bits & pieces in your garden.
Our scratch mix is made up of Wheat, Oats, Sorghum, Barley, Safflower, Black Sunflower, Cracked Corn, small Vegetable protein pellet & Limestone Chips.
The mix is then coated with a light dressing of canola oil and molasses - which chooks just love!
You ask why limestone chips & not shell grit? Limestone chips have a higher calcium percentage than shell grit, therefore it makes your egg shells form harder and also helps break down the grains in your chickens gizzard (makes it easier to digest)
Feeding Tips: Either fed in a feeder, bowl or sprinkled over your back yard.
